"The staff were all friendly and helpful from arrival to departure, with the exception of the Marinas bar, which is a franchise. The room (suite) was OK, but daily cleaning less thorough than might be expected (glasses and cups not washed). The curtains were good at light blocking but extremely noisy to operate. "Interesting place- lots to like, but not the "Zen Spa" experience expected. Still very enjoyable. The drive from LPA was pretty easy for a US driver - I wouldn't shy away from renting a car - it was a straight and easy ride. I parked on the street, no issue there. Room was super clean, lovely view, comfortable, Netflix on TV. No wash cloths. Shower was nice, great shampoos and plentiful amenities. There were 2 bottle of water in the mini-fridge but they were not replenished, a little stingy...

"Good one night, stay prior to flying home. Unfortunately the lifts were out of service. All rooms are on the third floor! The Duty Manager kindly arranged to carry my luggage to my room for me as I have an ongoing issue with my knee, and would not have been able to manage myself. Traditional style hotel but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good value for the money with many options. Highly recommended ."
