"The apartment is in a great location for the market, the palace and many bars and restaurants - all within easy walking distance as is Avignon Centre Gare. There are some stairs (no lift) but manageable even for a 76 year old. An excellent base for exploring Avignon. Great hosts, very helpful."

"The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep. "We had a wonderful stay in Avignon. The apartment was in a great location in the old town close to many restaurants. Being on the top floor, it had great views from large windows looking out over the city. It was very bright, clean, and had a modern kitchen. Exactly as described."

The apartment is very spacious, in a great location, with a very special view, and uniquely decorated. Of course to get a great view you have to be prepared to climb the stairs. The only minor issue is the water pressure in the shower."
