"Villa was clean. Staff was very polite, knowledgeable. There was a problem with the toilet and it was taken care of. A shower outside of the pool area would be very helpful in washing off sandy feet, also a door mat. Silverware was very cheap, could be better. It's the small things that could make it great."

"This was our first time staying at Banana Bay resort in October 2026. We liked the cleanliness of our room, although the AC was a bit noisy the climate in the room was very comfortable. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. At The Pointe Bar, we were able to experience the most beautiful sunsets, truly remarkable, it would had been more perfect if other options of cocktails were available outside of wine and beer. Additionally, there was No Music playing in the background, it would had been great for the completion of a perfect ambiance, unfortunately this was a miss for me. Breakfast was good, the bagels and pastries are a nice touch, we would had loved to have other options such as fresh fruits like bananas, oranges and apples available. The lighting on the entire property in the evening was a too dark to my liking. The parking lot area at the Island House was dark, we noticed there were no light posts in the vicinity. The entrance doors to the Island House stayed open all evening they did not lock (locks were broken). For safety reasons they should auto lock and access only with the card key readers."

"Our villa was right next to the workers building. Not an ideal spot for a “premium” villa. Also when they were cutting lawn and blowing leaves they were blowing everything all over our rental cars. Parking was tough because I think employees were also parking in guest spots. Again I think this was due to the location of our villa. We were never told what to do with our garbage or if housekeeping would come clean. Found out later you need to specifically request it 24 hrs in advance. It was off season so nice and quite not too many people so they definitely could have put us elsewhere. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves and plan to go back next time we would just be specific on check in about the location they put us in."
