"What I expected for the price. Ensuite Double room on ground floor. Comfy bed. Bathroom needs a little attention. Great check-in checkout experience."

"Nice hotel if a little dated bathroom. Food was good both breakfast and evening meal. Nice ce location a short walk to the town"

"Impressive and pleasant property. Large comfortable room and very comfortable bed. Extremely limited casual dining menu and mediocre results. The fine dining menu was more interesting and produced better results. Decent wine list. The bar staff had a difficult time taking orders and producing drinks. Allow a lot of time and patience for this activity. The television control was absolutely inscrutable, and the directions provided in the room manual were not correct. The telephone in the room was non-functional which is unacceptable in an establishment of this type. Yes, I would return."

"I enjoyed a comfortable stay here during my first visit to Carlisle. The staff were very helpful with car parking during our stay. A little too far to walk into town but absolutely spot on for the price."

Pinegrove Hotel

"Hotel was a bit dated however the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the location was quiet so got a good night's sleep. We did not eat breakfast, and dinner was not available so ate in the pub across the road then came back to the hotel and enjoyed their small bar. The hotel is handy for the motorway."
