"Good location in the village, nice view from front windows, room airy and bright. Staff helpful. Dinner menu good. However, the place needs a really good clean - staircase carpets filthy, laundry lying around, corridor cluttered. Only 1 staff at breakfast - supplies lacking and empty. Cooked breakfast good though."

"We can not fault anything, it was absolutely beautiful, we stayed in the gatehouse room which was incredible and extremely comfortable, the inn it’s self is so cosy and it’s definitely the friendliest inn that we have been in, the food was 10 out 10 the views from the beer garden where beautiful, the staff where so lovely and nothing is too much for them, they just want to look after you. "What a lovely old school pub and hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great (a lot of locals seemed to be eating here too). Room was simple but comfortable and very clean. There are a few areas that are a little tired and worn, but not to the level of impacting guests. I would be happy to stay here again"
