"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable with a new shaker modern style kitchen, so very easy to make a simple meal. The bed was super comfortable in a roomy upstairs bedroom. Valerie the host is a warm and helpful host who welcomed us upon arrival to ensure we were well informed about the property. We were very sad to leave after four heavenly days. The remote location is a real plus. It allows you to decompress and observe a pace of life for which we should have more appreciation. "
