Perfect weekend

"Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. The shower leaks from the corner of the tray especially if you use the horizontal part. You can hear the neighbours when sat in the lounge and smell their cooking. Advertised as having parking when we searched for it. This couldn't be further from the truth or more inconvenient for getting in and out with your bags. "

"The staff at the Harbour Hotel could not do enough for us! So happy and helpful. Extra special thank you to Receptionist Carley for going above and beyond. The rooms are exceptional as are the grounds and Fowey is a beautiful town with amazing bars and restaurants. We can't wait to come back."

Place View is a delightful and traditional Cornish terraced cottage.

Beautiful but very steep

"The house is lovely. I stayed with my elderly parents who walk with sticks and I didn’t appreciate how steep the hill to the property was. I have since read the reviews which point out that it’s steep and the car park is a half a km away - for us this was an 8 to 10 minutes walk. We had to collect the car and pick my parents up. It’s very difficult to park outside the house to offload too,the steep hill and single narrow road makes this challenging. If accessibility is no issue then it’s a great place to stay! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and homely decor! I’d come back but not with people with mobility issues.. fowey is gorgeous and lots of lovely restaurants too."
