Great vacation!

Awesome Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Bum! The pool was great, it was a quick and easy walk to the beach and the home had everything we needed and then some! We will definitely be back!

The home was very clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice addition. Only a short walk to the beach. Loved that the duplex had a door co necting as family rented the other side. Will definately rent again.

Great dog-friendly location.

We had to evacuate after Hurricane Ida at the last minute and with dogs in tow. Paula was super responsive and flexible in helping us get this together. House is great for a small family and had everything we needed! It’s of pool/beach toys as well, which was perfect for my pool teenager.

We had a great time in Gulf Shores and were very comfortable in our unit. You do however need to remember this is a shared unit. I would have loved to rent both sides with someone else from our family.

Nice 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathrooms, second row back. Beautiful but cold pool! From our balcony, you could only see a sliver of the gulf. Kind of a disappointment. New homes built, progress must go on!

When going to the beach, we really like having beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys. The house had all those things plus a wagon to carry them to the beach. While the house is not directly on the water, you can hear the waves and we loved it. We would love to rent again.

Great place!

The place is great. The only thing that was upsetting was the unit wasn’t cleaned before arriving. We arrived 20 minutes before arrival time at 4:00. Had to call for someone to come clean it and we had to wait an hour and a half for it to be cleaned. The day of checkout, the cleaning crew was there at 10:00 on the dot. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

If you plan to cook, bring spices, baggies, foil, extra toilet paper and paper towels as the description states only leave 1 extra roll per bath! Be very aware this is a duplex and pool, backyard area is shared! There were 15 people at one point in pool from the other duplex. Luckily it was only a couple days rental for that side. Even with all that we had a great time!!! Thank you!!

Location is perfect- walking distance to the beach, walking distance to the ice cream place, and plenty of room. Close to all the fun places (The Hangout, Surf Style, The Beach House restaurant, and close driving distance to Florabama). The private pool was the best. We grilled and hung out in the pool- perfect family time. We even brought our pup and he enjoyed the fenced in yard. Close enough to literally everything you want to do- OWA, the Wharf, shopping and anything you can think of to eat. Such a relaxing, perfect family vacay with the teens and their friends!
