Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

"We had a great experience overall. The entertainment was great, the staff was wonderful and friendly, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and had no complaints when it came to the service, food, or entertainment. Unfortunately, our biggest issue was the beds and pillows. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows were way too soft, which made it very difficult for us to sleep comfortably throughout our stay. As much as we enjoyed everything else about the hotel, getting a good night’s sleep is very important to us, and because of that we personally would not stay here again. Other than the sleeping accommodations, everything else was wonderful."

"Hotel is a fun hotel , the pools are great. They have a fun side and a relaxing side. The rooms are made colorful. Sultra, Flame, Filet are the best restaurants. the breakfast has gotten better since the last time. The beach is almost none existent because of the seaweed. Our housekeeper was awesome. The staff was good except trying to get you to buy into heir timeshare We hated that. Remember the are some real lifestyle ppl their me and my wife don't participate but love the Shows and night life ppl."

"This was our 4th or 5th visit to Secrets the Vine. We come back at the same time for full relaxation and have really enjoyed the welcoming and wonderful staff, serene upscale environment, pool and beautiful beach. There were some amazing people and lovely amenities available but this is the first time we have any negative feedback. The constant upselling is tiresome, if we want the overpriced spa package or special dinners, we’ll ask. Breakfast and lunch are just delicious, well-prepared and many solid options. Dinner is inconsistent at the various restaurants, two nights in the same restaurant, same dish, different execution. This trip, it felt like there were cost cutting measures in place: broken room light 4 days to fix, less waiters at the pool meant longer waits for drinks, romaine lettuce swapped for iceberg in Caesar salad, medium quality liquor instead of higher end options. Worst moment: were told at the beach no umbrellas were available. That’s not reasonable. I waited almost 30 minutes and the guy at the beach stand was absurdly unhelpful until I was clearly upset and then an umbrella appeared, after being mistakenly given to someone else while I waited, standing next to him. The front desk was great, giving us a new room at our request because of a loud party group next to us. We never saw groups of single people there before but this time multiple loud groups made the trip less pleasant. We come to Secrets to chill, not for loud women twerking by the pool."

"This property is like visiting a postcard in real life super lovely staff, amazing wildlife, and a great location! They will try to pitch you on becoming a "member". The international buffet was okay but the restaurants when we could get reservations were delicious. Highly recommend getting the extra xcrate add-on and visiting the park and seeing the show. Overall a dream vacation."
