"Newly refurbished, still a few problems. Light on desk not working, no mirror for ladies to see when drying hair but told they were arriving that day. Difficult working the shower. Had to call for assistance so need instructions on the door of how’s to turn on and off and direct to overhead or hand held. Otherwise very satisfied with the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A delicious breakfast. We have stayed there before and would so so again."

"I stayed in room 406, very spacious 1 double bed and 1 single. Great room for space if you like to have your belongings out. Plenty of storage, wardrobe and Chester draws. Very clean and maintained by the room steward. Excellent view of Medway river and can see the sun set in the evening. Lovely team of people at St George. Great for parking free on site which is a big bonus. For the price it’s very very good value."

"Stayed for 1 night for a business trip. Room was dated but still in good condition, bed comfortable and view dedent. Shower was too hot and turning the temperature down turned the pressure down significantly so it was an awkward balance. If I had to go to Rochester again I would still stay here. Lakeside view is much better than roadside also."

"Where you park its a bit of a walk to the hotel. Street was dirty and sidewalk had lots of flytipped goods. The room was lovely but a bit noisy and warm. I was quite disappointed that there was no lift as i had to take my suitecase up 3 flights of stairs."
