Atlantis Sanya

10/10 Excellent

"The Atlantis Sanya hotel is beautiful and luxurious. We splurged for 1 night but wished we had booked 2 nights. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the included attractions. I booked the room that includes the use of the Imperial club that offers tea time and an evening happy hour. The food provided is more than snack items. It’s an actual meal in my opinion it was a nice surprise. You can also have breakfast here or go to the main breakfast buffet. I would love to come back and spend a few nights. The staff are super helpful and lovely."

The Sanya EDITION

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fantastic stay at the Sanya Edition at the end of our 2 week holiday in China. The quality of the food in the restaurants was extremely high and I think that the food we ate at Xian Hai was some of the best food we have ever eaten. The spa and general hotel facilities were lovely and breakfast was fantastic."

The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay

8/10 Good

"Great location for getaway. nice garden, good pools. Breakfast: good selection, but service staff is not good organised, they are almost avoiding non chinese people in order to not speak english. only 4 of 10 days were we showed to a table to sit down, and only 3 of those days were we asked about coffee or tea. its not about we cant take it ourselves, its about the staff lacking proper training to be on ritz carlton level. during day time there seems to be very limited options to eat or drink, restaurants are open only specific times and only room service is available outside these times. for instance: it was impossible to just buy a fresh coconut at 14:00 in the reception because there was no staff in the shop to sell it to us, even though it was just sitting there. when we asked about it they said it wasnt open right now. this is really really bad image for ritz carlton. Rooms: we got a swim up pool room which was nice, but the AC in these room are extremely bad, when it was 34 degrees outside, the AC was struggling, and could only deliver around 23-24 degrees indoors, which is not ok at all for a ritz carlton. when confronting reception about this, they were super difficult and insisted on measuring the temperature in the room from where the air duct is, and not the temperature in the room, which is also ridiculous. after alot of complaining, we got a villa, which was nice of them, AC was good, but villa pool was dirty and hadnt been cleaned for a long time."

Hilton Haikou

10/10 Excellent

"My entire family had a fantastic stay at our 2 bedroom suite. It comes with a large living room and CEO study room, way beyond our expectation. So comfy that we almost didn’t want to go out! Housekeeping was done promptly and professionally, it felt so good to return to a sparkling clean home after a hot day in the sun."
