It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so are the staff. My room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the s'mores and the game room. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. I will defenately go back, and highly recommend.

Clean, tons of parking, and really friendly people! One note is that the shower is a bit small which was fine for me but if you are a taller or bigger person you could have some trouble.

My boyfriend and I booked at the last minute after deciding to stay overnight/into the next day after a work outing. This area is 3 hours from our home and offers great opportunities to kayak and mountain bike, so we came with a geared-up truck. The Gore Mountain Lodge is a wonderful and unique spot minutes from Gore Mountain ski area and the fun town of North Creek. Rooms are clean, comfortable and creatively decorated. It does not feel like a motor inn. We will go back.

A unique place. rebuilt older mansion very nicely done. loved the experience and the caretaker was quite a nice guy. I was travelling on my own and it was so nice to stay in a place that is not just a cookie cutter chain hotel.

For such a small town this hotel is perfect! Very nice rustic rooms, comfortable beds. Cozy fire place! Nice and clean! Love that you don't need to check in!

We were in New York to observe the eclipse of April 2024. We found the room very clean, quiet, and well appointed for our needs. The staff was congenial, answering questions and offering suggestions. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to our friends.

The room was spotless- the pipes had some issues but the staff worked on it immediately and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great!! Would 100% stay again!!
