"The Moxy was a great hotel choice for our stay in Halifax. The amenities were clean. Service was wonderful. It is a bit far from the waterfront area if someone is elderly but it is definitely walkable or a short 5 min Uber drive. Free coffee and tea daily was a nice touch. We loved the stash closet with extra towels, facecloths, toothpaste, etc. There is a nice patio you can relax on after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend! "

"Lovely Victorian style hotel on Lake Thomas. No elevator, the receptionist at the desk helped me carry the luggage to the third floor. We had a balcony. The only problem with the room was a shortage of outlets to charge our electronics and and we would have referred more artificial light in our room. "

"We loved spending time by the lake. The hotel has provided many chairs and picnic tables for guests to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. We also enjoyed our room with the great view of all the paddle boarders and dogs having a swim! We will definitely stay again."
