"Just stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Friendly helpful staff and a delicious breakfast both mornings.Room was lovely and bright,A very good size with comfy beds.Would definitely return and would recommend to others."

"Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!"

"Great place, delicious food and excellent location."

"Lovely cosy cottage. Close to the high street and Wensleydale creamery. "

"Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend"

"Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries."

"Robin at reception was a true gem and the best part about the hotel. After her showing us to our room it all went downhill sadly. "Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire"

"Our room was clean,as was the bathroom. The matrass was very soft, would gave preferred firmer. The meals were satisfactory. I would visit again"

"Absolutely lovely stay at The Lister Arms. Staff are amazing and the reason it's so good. They are helpful and friendly. The only very small downside is the cost. A little overpriced but otherwise beautiful. Couldn't really fault anything at all. The food was to die for."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower! Great food and beer, really enjoyed my stay!"

"This is a place that has been designed to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and interesting decorations. The pub is dog and human friendly and is a popular spot for locals. Jack, the Bernese Mountain dog is regularly present as he belongs to Kenny, one of the owners. Kenny and staff have put together an eclectic playlist of songs that are ever present in the background but not so loud as to interfere with conversation. The entire staff works hard to...
