A quiet, small building with only a few rooms, set in a big garden with ample parking. we slept withh the window open, and it was wonderful. It's reasonably close to the highway, and only 15 minutes into Bamberg. The breakfast was good.

Loved the balcony. Also loved the access to laundry room. Easy access to train station as well as buses. Close to shopping areas.

The hotel staff were friendly and kind, from checking in to drinks at the bar and check out they were helpful. The bartender even recommended better wine for us when we made a selection and gave us a sip of what we ordered versus what he gave us to show us the difference. The room was comfortable, it was a simple room which is perfect for Bamberg because you will be out all day and part of the evening anyways in this cute town! I would stay here again for sure!

Very large room with 5 large windows. Amazing bathroom with radiant heating on the bathroom floors which always kept our feet warm. Happy hour cakes and coffee are free and very tasty. Breakfast is scrumptious in a room with large windows looking unto the property which has a small creek running through it with a dreamy small castle in the back. Absolute the favorite place to stay on our lengthy vacation !!!

We had a wonderful room: clean and spacious. The staff is great. Breakfast has to be one of the best...so much to choose from. We have stayed with this hotel a number of times in the past and have never been disappointed.

Nice facilities, good staff, good location. Parking filled up but there were alternatives available very close.

The hotel room has the Leitmotif from Rheingold on the wall. As an avid Wagnerian and musician that was such a comfort to see.

The hotel is in a great area to go hiking and to explore a little mountain region in Germany. The hotel was comfortable it had a homey feel to it the room was a bit small but hey it is Germany. Definitely a great mountain escape.
