We offer a spacious guest home amongst the rolling prairie hills of Herschel, Saskatchewan. This beautiful home is a private and comfortable space that is the perfect place for gatherings, making connections and building memories. The Retreat House is a great spot to host your immediate or extended families, gather with close knit friends or host small community groups and retreats.

This is a 1 1/2 storey home (1351sq/ft) with a finished basment (896 sq/ft). The property is situated on 2 acres of well maintained green space. We offer plenty of room to run and wander about, star gaze, play family games, enjoy nature or just relax near the fire. There is also plenty of room to park an RV if you would like to host a small family reunion, anniversary or milestone birthday (please send a inquiry if for this type of gathering).

We now have wifi available! Also the rate is $270 weekend (Fri/Sat/Stats) and $200 week day (Sun-Thurs) CDN if there is a lower rate that is the USD price. We can easily accommodate more than 10 guests, especially if small children are staying. We say 10 guests as this is the most comfortable arrangement in the house if everyone would like their own bed. Please send a request if you would like a quote for more than 10 guests.

This home is centrally located in Saskatchewan and Canada, so a great location for guests to meet in the middle. Herschel is about a 20 minute drive from Rosetown, 45 minutes to Kindersley, 90 minutes from Saskatoon, and about 100 minutes from the Battlefords.

This is a beautiful space that was built to host guests. It has always been treated with respect and we expect future guests to enjoy the space and to continue treating it with respect.

The village of Herschel is in a picturesque setting where the Coal Mine Ravine joins the Eagle Creek valley. The beautiful hills surrounding Herschel were once the home to the Blackfoot and GrosVentres First Nations. Ancient Echoes Interpretive Centre is a short 2 minute walk from our property and gives excellent tours.

Wonderful Getaway
Absolutely loved this adorable retreat house. Traveling with 2 familys and 5 small kids was made so simple with the many ammenities, bathrooms and beds. The kids loved playing up in the loft with the many toys. Would love to stay again!

Family Girls Getaway
Girls trip was absolutely everything it needed to be and so much more. Our stomaches hurt from laughing and we made so many great new memories, while reminiscing on the old ones. This property is truly a hidden gem on the prairies - built from history, and cared for with love. We had a girls' getaway weekend and it was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of our jobs and lives in the city. We could have stayed here forever!

This house is a little oasis for anyone wanting the opportunity to relax and enjoy the simple and often the best things in life. Reading, cooking, sleeping, walking, snowshoeing, sunrises/sunsets, woodburning fires, games, skating, etc... You can make this place a choose your own adventure. I can't wait to come again during a different season and visit the Ancient Echoes center and walking tours.

Lovely homestead with a calm vibe! Perfect getaway
This property is beautiful, cozy, and clean. It feels well lived in with everything you may need at the house. There is an interesting history within the house that I loved learning about. It made us appreciate the home that much more. The hosts were kind and communicated very clearly to us. They were available if we needed anything and very repsonsive. The hottub was magical and I definitely melted away a lot of stress at this home. I look forward to returning again.
