"This house was in the PERFECT location for a stay in Grayton Beach. The deck was great and the size of the house was perfect for 5 adults and two kids. However, the outdoor shower didn't work and there was no hose or working water spicket on the exterior of the house to rinse sand off before entering. The upstairs shower curtain and liner were covered in mold, the bathmat was unwashed (visible dried toothpaste everywhere), and there were lots of high touch areas (door handles and frames, etc) that were obviously dirty. We tried multiple times to contact VRBO to address these issues and were told they were contacting the onsite management, but nothing was ever addressed. The kitchen was very clean and had most of what we needed, but no Tupperware or storage containers, so bring those if you plan on having leftovers at all. Everything was very dated which didn't bother us a bit - that shows in the pictures when booking, and we were on the beach most of the day anyway! But there was a good bit of peeling paint on doors, doorframes, baseboards. Between that and the age of the house I would be aware with very young kids in case of lead paint. "
