"The BWP Rio Grande was excellent accommodation for our brief family trip for an occasion. The location is excellent, very walkable. The room was just what we needed, no more, no less. We loved having a pool for the children. Breakfast was good. It was the location and pool that did it for us, but it needed to be clean as well, and it was! Parking can be tough at night."

"Booked by accident, we always stay at the other IHG Holiday Inn Express Downtown in Durango due to proximity of downtown. We liked the staff and the room was nice. The restaurant has room for improvement but otherwise it was all good."

"Our stay at the Econo Lodge in Durango, CO, was fantastic! The room was comfortable and clean, with beds that were especially cozy—perfect for a great night’s sleep. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet, ensuring we got plenty of rest. One thing that stood out was how considerate housekeeping was; they didn’t knock early in the morning like at other places we’ve stayed, which made our mornings even more relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was another nice perk, especially the option to make your own waffles! It added a nice touch to start the day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. On top of that, the rates were very reasonable for the quality and service we received. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durango!"

"We stayed here the final two nights of a nine-night trip. All the other places we stayed were great, but the Rochester was the best! It is conveniently located in downtown Durango and has a fantastic outdoor garden area to enjoy fresh air while enjoying a drink from their bar. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The service from the staff was top-notch. We took the train from Durango to Silverton and visited their sister hotel--The Wyman. If you go to Silverton, pay them a visit and grab a coffee or a libation in their lobby bar. Both hotels are very nicely decorated and they make you feel very welcome! "
