"We absolutely loved S&A Vondelpark, our room was on the 3rd floor and the building is so full of character while still having every amenity needed. The common areas and fireplace downstairs are very nice, the staff are friendly and the location is outstanding - vondelpark, cafes, restaurants, shopping are all so.convenient. Will definitely go back. "

Rooms looked clean superficially, but... the bathroom had a very strong smell of terrible cheap cleaner. The floor was not clean at all. We spilled a bit of water on the floor and wiped it with a towel, which turned brown! The ‘double’ bed was not big enough. The mattress was springy and awful. The breakfast is just ok. I do not recommend this hotel. "
