We had motorbikes but the staff arranged for these to be locked away overnight, which was very kind and gave us peaceful sleep.
The rooms were very nicely decorated and furnished with a comfy bed.
The young man who managed the place was helpfulness personified - a perfect hotellier.
The owner, Bob, is also an extraordinarily kind and charming host.
The food was really good - my two German friends travel a lot and they really rated the cooking.
Also, they found the Timothy Taylor's Landlord bitter very much to their liking and drank rather more than they perhaps should have at their ages.
