"Very clean, comfortable and well equipped!"

"This was a lovely place to stay in a very pleasant, peaceful location"

"A great house in the heart of the beautiful Hathersage village. We loved our stay here."

"Brilliant location, quiet and peaceful, very large semi enclosed garden (the border collie loved it). Ryecroft was warm and cosy, the furniture was very comfortable and the double bed was excellent. To walk the nearby hills we just had to step out of the door they were so close. We would have liked another saucepan. It was great value for the money and we would love to return next year. We recommend Ryecroft for a relaxing holiday."

"There are lots of walks from the doorstep. We hardly needed to use the car. The cottage is arranged to make the most of the beautiful views of the hills across the valley and of the hares which came to feed outside our windows. The accommodation is surprisingly spacious for a one bedroom property and is fitted out with very comfortable furniture. Certainly this is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in."

"Fabulous stay in this lovely cosy cottage. Loved the local community pub (The Anglers) and the walks close by are great. The owner is very helpful and communicative and provides excellent information on things to do locally. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to relax in beautiful surroundings."
