"It was finished to an extremely high standard, it has all the amenities needed and it was impeccably clean. It’s in a beautiful location. The owner is incredibly helpful and very responsive. If I could give 6 stars, I would!"

"Had a wonderful 5 days here. Plenty of space. Fully kitted kitchen to cook meals in. 3 double bedrooms. The dog loved the nature and sat on the decking for hours. Owners on hand if you need them but did not see them otherwise. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful shepherd's hut great for a relaxing weekend away."

"Lovely cottage. Warm and cosy. Well managed"

"Could have been cleaner and cheaper for what you get, but the facilities and the size, number of bathrooms and location make up for this."

"The location was perfect, right in the city centre but not too close to the noisy bars, the house was clean and well appointed. Would recommend."

"Would definitely recommend staying here at maple lodge. Loved all the wildlife around the lake, the bunnies were a real treat. Great location and very comfy lodge."

"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."
