"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. These things are not expensive to install. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty when...

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

Add to that the foot traffic, which sounded as if people were chatting right next to our bed in the middle of the night. "The location in Edinburgh and the price make this an excellent place to stay. Convenient to bus and train station by foot, airport close. Many restaurants and charming pubs in walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Having air-con was a bonus for the unseasonably warm temps. Would stay again and recommend to anyone I knew going to Edinburgh."
