"A really lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable ( especially the beds) and cosy. So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return."

There’s a good pub within easy walking distance. Warm cottage, comfy large bed and a great shower. The host responded immediately to a question we had and was very helpful."

"We used this charming cottage to stay over for a family wedding. Walking distance of Stockbridge High Street made it a perfect location. The cottage is delightful very clean, beds are really comfy and nice outdoor space for when the sun is out. Will definitely use again."

"Overall this is a great property. Very secluded but near to main roads and easy access to amenities. There are however a few things that would have made a vast improvement to the property considering the cost to rent. The sitting room could do with more and better seating. Considering this is for 4 people, 2 small sofas is not sufficient for evening comfort especially considering the dining area can accommodate 8 people. Smaller things like there are no toilet roll holders. Also the bathroom...

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "
