Top Froxfield Hotel Reviews

ORIDA Hotels Newbury

10/10 Excellent

"Very good value for the price"

Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon

8/10 Good

"The hotel is clean and convenient location as we were going to Cotswold. Some areas like the bathroom could do with some updating. Plenty of parking space which you can pay for £7.50 at the reception. On the plus side, the leisure facilities—including the pool, sauna, and steam room—were great! Just an advice if you're planning a night swim: the website says the pool is open until 9:00 PM on weekends with last entry at 8:15 PM, but they actually closed early at 8:45 PM so staff could clean it which is not indicated in the website or information that they handout when you check-in. Make sure to give yourself extra time. Also, breakfast took a while to be replenished. They seemed really busy as there were a lot of people likely due to a wedding the night before."

The Old Crown Coaching Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open fire in the bar is pleasant on a winter day. The Christmas lunch that I had with my son last year was really exceptional, but the kitchen always offers good, and beautifully presented food. I always enjoy staying here."

Gray Manor Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. A little worn but everything worked. Comfortable room which was cleaned daily and biscuits etc replenished daily which often does not happen in hotels costing 5 times as much. Staff were helpful/pleasant especially the young man doing the breakfast. The breakfast was really good considering the price. Ample parking and food/bar menu good value for money."
