A little haven

Staying at this property was amazing! It was a little haven in our chaotic trip! The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, and homey. The owner was kind, helpful, and even left a little treat for us when we arrived. She's put a lot of thought and attention to detail into this property and it shows! We'll treasure the memories of this trip!

Beyond Expectations

Such a lovely cottage and the attention to detail with quality bedding, kitchen crockery, fresh flowers & treats waiting, nice soap / moisturiser..it really felt like a home away from home. Also great location for walks straight from the house 😊

Beautiful cottage, clean, nice fireplace and great shower. Location couldn’t be better, walking to Urquhart Woods and the lich and close to so many gorgeous places to visit

Great Getaway in the Highlands!

This place was exactly what we needed on our trip. Staying here our last week in Scotland was indeed beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and Julie was so helpful and nice. Short drive to Inverness and many things around there to do. If I get lucky enough to come back I’ll definitely be wanting to stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Outstanding accommodation

The cottage is absolutely lovely as is the hostess, any questions we had were answered promptly, this Is very well appointed cottage that exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect, lovely quiet village with easy access to the west coast as well as Inverness and other areas. We were sad to leave this lovely place!

Perfect!

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and thoughtful decor; beautiful landscape prints everywhere. Everything you could possibly want for a weeks stay with a well equipped kitchen, amazing shower and private outside space. Location is great and within walking distance of shops/pubs/ woodland walks. Helpful, friendly hosts who were on hand if needed. Will be returning!x

Home from Home

The cottage has all you need, great location to access other areas. Very clean and quite. Check in and out was seemless and you are left to enjoy your stay. The cottage has all you need and the welcome treats are much appreciated. There were only the two of us but plenty of space for the four if needed. Lots of information availble at the property regarding the area and beyond. Loved our stay and will return ❤

Great place -even better than expected

We loved your cottage. Everything we needed and more was on offer. Comfy beds, lovely sitting room and a fantastic power shower! The secluded garden sitting area was an unexpected bonus. Having a great pub restaurant minutes from the house was very handy, and of course there is so much to do in the Drumnadrochit area. The host was on hand, yet unobtrusive. Very helpful. We highly recommend this cottage!

Lovely stay in beautiful cottage

Very comfortable cottage, beautiful artwork of the Highlands on the walls. Well equipped to cook our own meals, 5 min walk to the co-op for provisions. A few lovely walks on the doorstep and well located for drives to areas around Loch Ness. Host on hand to help if necessary

Enjoyable stay

We had a very enjoyable stay in the rather small, but very cozy and clean cottage. Everything we needed was there, all very new and of good quality, chosen with good taste. A very nice welcome package with some foods , wood for the fireplace etc.. was very much appreciated. Well situated to visit Loch Ness and others. Loved Scotland and its beautiful nature! Fantastic Accomodation

This property was just as described, very clean and well equipped. Two of us stayed for a week and found the cottage to be very comfortable for that length of stay. We can also see where four people would also be comfortable here. It is a quiet street and has plenty of parking. There are a lot of small touches around the cottage that you could tell a lot of thought has gone into setting up a wonderful accomodation. You will be glad you booked this cottage. The private back garden is beautiful in the spring and if you are lucky with the weather a great spot to relax after a full day if activity. We would 100% stay here again.

Perfect Cottage as base for exploring!!!

We had a beautiful week in the Scottish Highlands. We stayed at the cottage and it was a lovely place to come home to each night and to relax when we were tired in the morning and cook a lovely breakfast. They had everything we needed and much more. Chocolates, Prosecco, Chips, Coffee, Tea and all the cleaning supplies etc you might need. Lovely , comfortable home. I would definitely return!!!

Amazing stay, amazing hosts!

Our stay at Julie and Rob's cottage was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the place—it's even more stunning than the photos! The cottage had ample space for my wife, our two young children, and me. It was spotlessly clean, and the kids were thrilled to find a cupboard full of games and activities. We loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and taking peaceful walks after dinner along the rural roads and into the nearby forest. The area felt very safe, and Julie and Rob ensured we had everything we could possibly need. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return!

Best Cottage ever

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach super. Das Cottage bietet alles was man für einen Schottland Urlaub braucht. Wenn man sternförmig Ausflüge plant und Abend zurückkommt, total platt, dann ist dies das beste Cottage. Wenn mal etwas nicht passt ( bei uns nicht) , ist sofort Hilfe da. Ob NC500 oder Eileen D. Castle. Alles ist innerhalb 1,5h Fahrt einfach erreichbar. Der Ort selbst bietet ja schon 2 highlights . Das Urq. Castle sowie das Loch Ness Museum. Gastgeber Kontakt super nett und das Cottage ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Klasse ! Vielen lieben Dank Jumie und Rob. Grüße

Mooie, comfortabele en complete cottage vlakbij Loch Ness

We verbleven bijna een week in deze prachtige vakantiewoning. Alles heel goed verzorgd, prima keuken met allerlei voorraad, goede pannen, moderne badkamer met goede douche en luxe handdoeken, ruime slaapkamers. 2 nadelen: De bedden zijn klein: het tweepersoonsbed meet 190x135 en de twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn ook maar 1.90 lang. De jaloezieën voor de ramen houden nauwelijks licht tegen; wij prefereren verduisterende gordijnen.Verder heerlijk huis. Het huis is op loopafstand van kasteel Urquhart Castle en Loch Ness. We maakten ook een rondrit over het schiereiland Skye.
