"The Garden Cottage was everything we could have wished for on our weekend visit. Impeccably clean, stylishly designed, thoughtfully filled with exactly what we needed to feel like a ‘home from home’. Local advice of where to visit and where to eat was spot on and we cannot recommend the cottage enough. Pure perfection!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! Although a bit out of St. Andrews, the drive is a short one and the ambiance is exceptional for those who enjoy being in nature and love taking walks in the countryside. The house itself was perfect and offered great privacy."

"We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

"The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

The very windows you look out to see the ocean and the sheep are built right into the wall. The walk around the property is fantastic. "Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. We mentioned it was our little minimoon and they very kindly left us some chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Amazing stay exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer xxxx"

Excellent hotel in a good location
"We stopped at the Pine Marten for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and was well located for us. Our room was fine - clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities necessary. Check in and check out was easy. We had a ground floor room with level access. The staff at the hotel and associated pub were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and they were very keen to make sure that my food allergies were catered for. A good hotel 👍"
