"What a wonderfully charming inn! Our room was perfect from the comfy bed to the windows overlooking the street. A 2 minute walk from Beacon Hill Park,15 mins from Fisherman’s Wharf and not much longer to Fan Tan Alley in Chinatown. We didn’t need a car to get around at all. Breakfast was wonderful. My husband can’t say enough about the building and super friendly and helpful staff, especially Hedy and Roy/Ron (sorry we couldn’t remember which it was) We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! "

"Clean and comfortable room. The hotel notifies you when you book that the rooms don't have air conditioning and certain rooms look out over the street and harbor and can be a little noisy if you keep the window open. I closed the window and didn't have any trouble with noise; the room came with a table fan. The bathrooms are a little dated and there there was one step up into the bathroom in my room. No problem, but something to keep in mind. I ate in the bar side of the restaurant and had a great vegetarian salad. The hotel is just across the harbor and had a great view."
