Lovely property!

Tranquil place to unwind and just relax. Staff was amazing and rooms very clean and cosy. Breakfast was top notch.

Great stay! It is a renovated Castle in the middle of Yorkshire.

Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.

Lovely

It is impossible to overstate the standard of the Wensleydale Heifer. The awards affirm the restaurant quality and the standard of accommodation. What they do not evidence is the attention to detail that every member of staff personifies. This is the first opportunity we have had to stay at the Heifer, although we have eaten here before. The hotel was everything we hoped for and will become our "go to" place in the Dales. Thank you for a memorable stay!

What an amazing find. The location is perfect. The room was spacious and well appointed with acomfortable bed and luxurious linens. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was incredible.

Great location and super clean and comfy. No elevator makes getting luggage up to your room a little difficult but we managed. Tea and cookies in the room was a nice treat. Would stay again!

Really cool little town with a great castle ruin.

We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was...
