"Very well situated for a walk into Jesmond Dene. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good. Our room was not very big however was comfortable and well equipped. The only problem was with the unusually low height of the wc in the bathroom."

On the plus side when I did get through to the number full details on check in were provided and the 2 staff members who were there that day were helpful."

"We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs. We were at the front of the building right above the hotel bar and both Friday and Saturday night I struggled to sleep til the partygoers left at midnight. I had the windows shut and the blinds...

"Ok for a 1 night stay. Staff seemed friendly enough. Room whilst generally clean and bed comfortable was in need of a makeover. There were dusty areas in the corners of the carpet and the shower cubical leaked, as there was no where to hang towel whilst in shower put on floor outside and it got soaking wet. Guess you get what you pay for. Had to pay a £50 security deposit whilst this was made clear when booking I have never been asked to do this before and I have stayed in many many hotels. Also...
