"We stayed only one night as we drove up north with our dogs. The neighborhood was great for walking with beautiful lake views. The host was very accommodating and the cabin was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. The cabin has a full kitchen and great dining area to look at the sunset as you have a meal. We will be back for a longer stay. *since we were just stopping through we ordered food to go from the red oak filling station which was close by. Food was good and fast"

"We have stayed at this property many times over many years. Sometimes in this cabin and sometimes in others, depending on the number in our group. Before and after it became part of Mountain Harbor Resorts and certainly before having to rent it through VRBO. Having to pay extra fees for the same property without any extras, is aggravating! In the past, a note was left with the laundry bag allowing us to mark what was needed that day, such as what towels, soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, etc....

"The house was very nice and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed dinner on the deck out back with the fire pit going. The grill would not light up using the push button igniter. Recommend bringing a long lighter to ignite the grill if planning on using it for cooking. We did not have one but a quick trip to Wal Mart minutes down the road solved that issue. We enjoyed fishing off the deck/dock. Wish we had brought a canoe or some kayaks because you could set sail right from the back. Overall...

"We love staying here when we come to Mt. Ida to dig crystals! Super cute little cabin, very clean and comfy. Close to town, but far enough out so it feels like the country. It has a glorious wrap around deck with a nice Blackstone grill that overlooks the woods and a nice firepit. There is a cabin next door, but it's not close enough to be bothersome. We will definitely be back!"

"This cabin in the woods was a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of life and relax. It had all the comforts of home and was in a convient and beautiful location to visit Lake Catherine State Park, Hot Springs National Park, and Crater of Diamonds State Park. My family loved the place and would definetly come back!!"
