"This resort was great. It's clean, staff are friendly and amazingly with the amount of people there they would remember you. There wasn't a lot of vegan options for my girlfriend but the staff went above and beyond to try and accommodate her diet needs when needed."

"This was a beautiful room and set up. Our room had a large bathroom/shower, the bedroom/kitchen set up were open like a studio. The back patio and pool area were amazing. The only thing that was negative was that instead of going to explore beautiful Costa Rica I didn't want to leave my room! It is in a gated community, the suites have their own little parking lot. The one thing I was unsure of when I booked was if the pool was private and I mean it kinda is but other guests can definitely see you, it is like a duplex set up so if someone chose to be loud while they were outside you would hear them, we never experienced that though. Would love to stay here again someday!"

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The late afternoons did get warm, but we just cooled off in the pool. We did not see any rain while we were there. The nights do cool down, but was still a little warm for sleeping. Driving was an experience! The roads are very narrow and congested. The hosts were very helpful planning several tours for us. We really enjoyed the coffee farm tour. We did get lost several times In the neighborhood. The roads and driveways all look the same and street signs are minimal. We had to go back to the gate house and ask for directions. They have a map of the neighborhood that we were able to take a picture of, which was extremely helpful. The people of Atenas are super friendly and gracious. Overall it was a fabulous vacation in Costa Rica!"
