"Excellent location and service!"

"We found this hotel to be well-situated, very clean and with an exceptional staff. We stayed for four nights in mid-November. The location is within walking distance of several of the major museums, including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. It is directly across the street from a canal tour ride and the Hard Rock Cafe. It is about a block from a tram and bus stop, including one that goes directly to Schipol. Our room was fairly small. I do not know if they had accessible rooms, but it should be noted that the shower is in a tub with high-sided walls, which could be a problem for some. There was a fridge, a coffee maker and an electric kettle--however the outlet was not near the counter and it made more sense to use the tea kettle in the bathroom. Our street-side room was on the first floor. Even so, it was not noisy at night. It wasn't until the last day that I noticed there was a problem with the window, causing a cold draft. When I reported it, they were very responsive. (In the meantime, I had also requested an extra comforter and recieved that as well.) There's a lovely drink shop around the corner from the hotel. I recommend avoiding most of other nearby restaurants and walking about a block or two north of the Hard Rock to the Leidseplein area, where there are streets filled with a wonderful variety of restaurants. "

"Very close to Amsterdam Train Station. About a 15m walk. You can catch a train from the airport. We trained and flew out of London afterwards and caught the Eurostar Train. Then walking 2 min straight from the front of the station is the srart of a tourist area.. Hotel.is quiet as not close to a main road. Great views as basically on the water. Very friendly and helpful staff as well!"

"There was very easy access to the hotel from Schiphol airport using bus 937 that had a stop very close to the hotel. The hotel staff was at all times welcoming and cordial during our stay. We arrived during the early morning, and our luggage was stored until check in time. Our room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast room was also welcoming, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. The hotel boasts an overall cozy atmosphere, and the location in the Jordaan district is fabulous."
