"The staff here is extremely courteous and friendly. The buffet is quite good…Lots of items, from hot to cold. I’d rate it 4 stars out of 5. The Grand Hotel is a mainstay in Taipei and the lobby is beautifully ornate with red Asian decor. My room was small, but comfortable and more than adequate. Bathroom and shower were excellent."

Since we have stayed 2 nights at the hotel, we get to try different onsen there (they swap the female and male onsen area every night). The location is also very close to the metro station with a number of restaurants nearby. "

The public bath space was a little small but very clean and also had generous free snacks like apples, milk, and pokari sweat. "
