The whole house is quirky, feels a little unfinished, and the walls are thin so you can hear people moving around in the house at all hours. Our beds were comfortable, and it was nice that the room had a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. There is also a shared kitchen. Upon arrival, we were charged an extra 200 yen per person per day for the hotel tax, and an extra 300 yen per person per day for access to the onsen. We were fine paying this, but it was a little bit of a surprise, especially because there was no alternative way to bathe/shower. The onsen was the highlight of this hotel for us. It is a private bath that comfortably fit two of us, which was romantic and relaxing. "
