"This property was clean and had plenty of dining and shopping right in the building. There were plenty of amenities right in the room, a convenient store on the first floor, a taxi stand out front and it is across a walkway from the subway stop. Extremely convenient. We would stay again."

"Great location, very clean except the guy who was helping me checkout. I was self checking out and had only one key with me and th second one was in the room power on switch. Was not aware that 2 keys are needed to check out and one key was already processed by the machine and could not get the key back to go back to room to get the second one. The guy at the counter was soo rude that he was throwing up his ands and acting up etc. not acceptable. Not sure whther he was cursing me in Japanese as he was saying some thing in Japanese and shaking his head etc"

The hotel is on a quiet block but is less than 5 minutes from some of the best parts of Kyoto. Kyoto is a spectacular place. Hundreds of shopping and restaurants are minutes away.
