Ken is a wonderful host! He made amazing recommendations for places to eat and even went to the trohble of finding and making reservations at places when the ones we wanted were closed for holiday. He even was gracious to mail my glove which i had accidentally left to my next hotel. Thanks ken!
The loft itself is spacious for the area (keep in mind places are small in japan). It's very clean, has a washer in unit, and is optimally located near restaurants and fukuoka castle/park.

It is a very beautiful little apartment nicely furnished adequate little kitchen washing machine dryer all of that the only thing that was a little bit difficult for me was self-check in but that is probably because I am older also the beds are very comfortable but very low to the ground making it difficult for me I'm 67 to get up from it without holding on to the bed in front of me where somebody else was sleeping. Foreigner friendly and it’s only a couple minute walk from Hakata station. The rooms were clean and the beds were larger than even the photos made them look. There’s also a 7-11 just down the street where you can get late night munchies and the best atm rates in Japan. Just bring your passport as even with self check in it’s still required.
