"I stayed here because it was pet-friendly - I brought my cat. The location is ideal because it's right in the center of Kata. I would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay in Kata was made even more special from the wonderful staff. The Hotel is just far enough away but close enough to the action of Kata.
Will be staying here again. Especially if Lita is still looking after your stay. "

" The check-in process was very difficult. Plan on waiting for a key. When she finally did and you want to rest and relax but the air-conditioner barely works. What makes this day intolerable is the rooster that starts crowing at 2 AM in the morning and doesn’t stop till 7 AM. The whole situation is obnoxious! The only thing positive about the stay is the view of The Big Buddha"

Quiet location with shuttle service if you want to be closer to the beaches. Restaurant & healthy shakes were good options. Pool was nice and rooms where very comfortable.

I Loved everything about this place. Clean, comfy and big rooms. Pet friendly. It was very Close to the Naka Weekend Market and is 2 Gals could walk there and back. It only took us less than 5 minutes. Will definitely recommend and with every trip to Thailand, I will at lease spend a weekend at this Charming , magical place.

The Beatles Lagoon is perfect for the traveler looking for some peace and quiet. It is not a far drive from some great sites, food, and beaches and it is not in the heart of the city bustle and noise. It is a beautiful set up and the room was private and clean. I did have ants show up one day and the staff were so wonderful to take care of it quickly. Highly recommend!

Wow - fantastic resort! The check-in procedure was a joy - cold towels, delicious fresh drink, flowers, and the utmost of attention from the staff. The staff here are excellent - everyone we spoke with was fantastic - the people are really great!!! The condition of the resort is near perfection. The views are fantastic. The restaurants serve excellent food, with outstanding service. They have golf carts and will drive you throughout the resort at any time.

I was wrapping up a separate vacation trip to Phuket and wanted a nice place near the airport for the 3 nights before I could fly out. I found this on Tripadvisor, with a deal from Expedia. In my younger years I worked in hospitality, so I'm a bit jaded about hotels, especially resorts. But I thought I'd go for the experience and am pleased to say that the Slate exceeded all expectations. In over 60 years of travel, I'd be hard pressed to say that I've had better service, cleanliness and meals...

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast every morning was AMAZING. Our room exceeded our expectations. The pool is beautiful with a great ocean view, and the resort isn’t far from many other great places, like Nai Harn Beach.

Easily the best kept secret in downtown Phuket! Has a great staff and four wonderful cats roaming around! Also a quick 5 minute walk to Bangla Road and all the surrounding nightlife. Hotel has a great breakfast with a western menu. I definitely will be rebooking for my next visit.

The owner and staff were very polite and kind. The bathroom was very new and clean. The room was spacious the bed was comfortable. The food was very good, the beach was a short walk, there were many places to walk to for food, shopping and drinks.

The resort and hotel staff are excellent. Previous reviews are spot on; very hospitable, accommodating, and the food in the restaurant is quite good. Location is perfect, away from the noise of Patong, but close enough that it’s accessible when the mood strikes you. Room was very nice, clean and the AC worked very well.

Omg this place is amazing. We really loved it. Staff super friendly and kind... they would help us with pretty much everything. Not super close to Bangla road but maybe between 20-30 min waking to Bangla road. Nice!

This was our favorite hotel stay in Thailand. The area (Panwa Beach) is much quieter than the Patong beach area and we loved it. Just down the hill and around the corner is a great evening market and some delicious (very low priced) restaurants. We rented scooters for $1/hour from the place across the street as well.
