Cozy up next to the fireplace in your beautiful riverfront cottage with a true rustic wood cabin feel. Step outside and be taken back by the stunning views of Burnt River. Perfect waterside fire pit and deep water swimming with newer dock and armour stones. Kayaks/hammock available, boat launch 2 mins down the road. This 700sqft cottage has comfortable living spaces inside and out. The newer wraparound deck features glass railing and large outdoor patio table with built-in hot tub. Linens are not provided. Guests must bring bed sheets and towels.

Fantastic experience!

Stayed with 4 other friends for a getaway weekend. Place was very clean, fully stocked with essentials and kayaks were a huge bonus. Felt like a home away from home and would highly recommend.

Perfect cottage getaway

Everything was wonderful from start to finish! Check-in was easy. Had a nice classic cottage feel, in a lovely location, with a beautiful view over the river. Although there are neighboring cottages, was quiet and private. Loved relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the river, and BBQ dinners on the deck. No complaints!

Beautiful spot

This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful spot on Burnt River. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing, campfires, and the many great games that are available. Abundant water was supplied, as well as a full propane tank for the BBQ. Communication was always easy and prompt. Highly recommended.

Lovely River Front Stay

My wife and I booked this Cozy Rusty Cottage as our Christmas gifts to each other and had a lovely stay despite the rainy and warm weather. The hosts were very clear with communication and gave lots of instructions and rules regarding the visit. We enjoyed the hot tub, the view of the river in the backyard and the fireplace inside the cabin. It was very private, peaceful and romantic. We are interested in renting this cabin in the summer to take advantage of the water sports available!

Muskoka vibes in Kawarthas

The road in to the cottage was well marked and easy to navigate. We had clear instructions upon check in and check out. The cottage was tidy, clean, well organized and the kitchen was well stocked with condiments/necessities. The kids loved the variety of board games, fire pit for hanging out around/roasting marshmallows and water toys available. We appreciated the number of charging stations and consistency of internet. There are 3 bedrooms, not 4 and we’re confused by the listing. The depth of the river was great - we enjoyed the ease at which we could swim and dive. The wrap around deck, outside eating area and hot tub were an absolute hit!

Great location along a quiet and private section of the Burnt River, incredibly peaceful and relaxing listening to the birds on arrival.Cottage was very comfortable with great air conditioning for the hot summer weeks and we all slept great. We have a very nervous and reactive dog and appreciated the private nature of the property. Water was great and one of the best spots along the river as far as we could see!Easy 15 minute drive to Fenelon Falls was perfect for many lunch options etc and a great home base to explore the region!

Lovely views

We really enjoyed the location and property. Lots of features and amenities exactly as advertised. Great hosts who were responsive and polite. However, when we first checked in there was dog fur from a previous guest over all of the couches, floors etc. and we found used (smoked) joints inside the cottage. It wasn’t cleaned very well between our stay and the previous guests. We also found the back door screen off of the door, leaning against the back wall, so we could not have the back door open to let the breeze in without also having all the bugs come in. Hopefully this was already known by the owners and I won’t be getting blamed for that. The propane tank for the BBQ was empty, though they do leave spare ones on site for guests to swap out.

The Best

Exceeded all of our expectations. Awesome quiet place but also so much to do. The river was amazing and we spent a lot of time floating up and down. All of the amenities we needed! Will be booking here again for sure!

5 day get away with our adult kids. We really enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. The cottage had comfy beds and a variety of kitchen appliances. The deck and hot tub was a great hit along with the fire pit. Lots of time for relaxing and games. We hope to return. GREAT HOSTS! THANK YOU Neil and Shanna.

Perfect Fall Getaway

We spent three nights in this charming, rustic cottage and loved every minute of it! We felt right at home as the cottage had all the amenities that we needed for a peaceful and relaxing fall mini vacation. A large waterfront property with a stunning view of the river. Many hours were spent dockside enjoying the fresh air and the scenery. Can’t wait to visit again!

An amazing place

My family and I just stayed at this wonderful place and had an amazing time. It is very clean and well maintained. The hosts, Neil and Shanna were excellent. They responded so quickly and were very helpful whenever I had a question. There is so much you can do here. If you want you can swim, fish, paddle on the river or maybe have a fire and some smores. At the end of the day soak in the hot tub, which was so good and maybe watch one of the many movies available. We had an amazing time and hope to go back next summer. Thank you Neil and Shanna.
