"The Weaste Hotel was genuinely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The entire place was dirty and unclean from the moment we arrived. The shower was covered in hair and mould, the toilet was filthy, the cups were dirty, and the floor was badly stained. Even the radiator was hanging off the wall. The whole property felt unsafe and completely neglected.
As soon as you walked into the property, there was a strong smell of curry and cannabis throughout. It honestly felt like the entire place needs condemning.
The only good part of the stay was getting back into the car and leaving.
I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone — We ended up having to book another hotel last minute which cost over £200 for one night, completely ruining our break away.
The hotel also refused to provide a refund, so I will be reporting this matter to Trading Standards.
