Cozy Hudson Valley Retreat - 1950's Ranch Close to Everything

Your upstate retreat awaits. Two hours away from New York City, this lovingly restored 1950's ranch has two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of pillows and blankets, and a dedicated office space overlooking a wooded back yard. There are hardwood floors throughout, and lvt flooring in the kitchen. A fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances makes its way into an open yet cozy living and dining room space. Complementary organic coffee, hot chocolate and tea, natural soaps, body wash, and shampoo are available. The bathroom has original vintage tile with a deep cast iron tub. The home is perfect for an artist's/writer's retreat or a vacation with family and friends. The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood within 10 minutes of Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, and the Shawangunk Mountains; less than one mile to the Kerhonkson Rail Trail, Kerhonkson Diner, and Mill & Main Restaurant. It is a short five minute drive to Rough Cut Brewery, Inness, Arrowwood, and Westwind Orchard. Local farms and farm stands include Barthel’s, Damn Good Honey Farm, Kelder’s Farm, and Saunderskill Farms. Come and enjoy this beautiful area and warm space!

Peaceful stay

Driving to Kerhonkson was beautiful, and the area was fresh and restful. The house itself had all we needed, and its design alllowed privacy and family togetherness. Maya was easy to communicate with, and fresh flowers in the kitchen was a lovely and welcoming touch. We highly recommend.

Wonderful Hosts

We had a wonderful time being back in my home town right down the road from my elementary school. The house was beautiful, had everything we needed, was nice and quiet in the neighborhood and close to food, groceries or gas. The host was super nice and her husband shoveled for us while we were out and about after it snowed. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here!

Fun fall weekend

This space was the perfect place to come back to after a day filled with fun fall activities. The property had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner. And there were ample entertainment provided options for the evening. The property was clean and spacious. It is a great place to stay, I would highly recommend it.

Quaint oasis

Maya's house is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. The living space is large and the neighborhood quiet. It's walking distance to the Kerhonkson Diner and Mill & Main, and a short drive to Minnewaska State Park Preserve and Kelder's Farms. Looking forward to coming back to this quaint oasis!
