"I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"

"The entrance and access to the rooms was dirty and unwelcoming. There was a lot of noise from delivery trucks and garbage trucks. There was no reception to speak of and this made it difficult to organise anything like taxis etc to get around. Extremely rude and arrogant manager who swore and used foul language when we made a comment that he was not very helpful or courteous. The place itself once passed the entrance was lovely but there was no lift and no help with luggage up the stairs. ...

"The space was roomy and mostly clean The stove burners were quite dirty. The toilet was very unkept. I cleaned it a bit but a bathroom should be cleaned everyday. We were provided with 3 coffees for 3 people for 4 overmight stays. A sign requesting us to keep the place clean, while perhaps understandable, were unable to fo a good job with no way to clean the floor or wipe up spills or messes. "Host was lovely even though I kept her up till late due to my delayed flight. She also had to get up early both days of my stay as I needed to get away early both days! "

"We stayed four nights in a rather spacious room. The decor and fittings is a little dated but the place is kept clean. Breakfast spread is basic with the usual bread, cereals, ham, cheese, fruits etc. The hotel is located near to Kudamm strasse the shopping belt. There are many restaurants nearby, with an Italian eatery just next door. Was quite impressed with the staff as they took the trouble to pack a simple food pack for us in the evening before our checkout as we had a very early flight to...
