"This is a wonderful historic hotel that has been beautifully modernized. Our room was spacious with inspired decor. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our stay at the Walper. The breakfast is no longer free, but it's very good. As was dinner at the hotel's TWH. Pricey, but what restaurant isn't these days?"

"A very enjoyable stay in the heart of Kitchener. Parking is not included but the municipal parking directly outside the window was helpful. So quiet despite being right downtown. The heat pump is genius, and we appreciated the AC so much when it was in the 30's over the weekend. Comfortable bed, and everything worked as posted. Thanks!"

The unit was clean, quiet, and well-equipped — having a full kitchen and in-suite washer and dryer made things so much easier during a busy weekend. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved the amazing views from the 10th floor — a great way to relax after long days at the tournament. The location was convenient, and the building felt safe and well-maintained. We’d definitely stay here again!"
