Staff was awesome and goes above and beyond. Beautiful views for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beach is a couple minutes but lots of coral so high tide is the best for swimming or snorkeling. I'm hoping to bring my wife next time.

I had the great fortune of being the only person staying here, which means I also had the entire beach to myself and enjoy all its splendor in peace and quiet. I would highly highly recommend this place as a picture-postcard perfect spot to take in the natural wonder that is Thailand.

Staff organised everything - transport, tours, info, even breakdown service when we got a flat tyre and take out breakfast when we had early tour. Room is spacious and cleaned efficiently every day.

The staff provided excellent assistance with transport, ordering food, and access to tours. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Be ready for the monkeys and lizards...but this is southern Thailand...

This hotel was absolutely stunning. Frankly, I am not used to the level of care we received. It is clear to me now why Layana is ranked the #1 hotel on the island. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, insanely good food, and top-notch attention to detail. Perfection!!

Amazing staff

Transfer from Krabi Airport was a breeze (hotel sorted it via their Facebook Page). Check in was quick and friendly, Pool View rooms were amazing. The breakfast was what we booked for and we werent dissapointed, the filter coffee is turned up to 11 so even the Scandi's were adding milk. Ideal for snorkeling with reefs infront of the hotel, swimming is best just down the bay. Motorcycle hire was excellent and when an issue arose (fuel tank defect affecting throttle) the bike was swapped for...

This hotel is in a great location. The pillows were really comfortable and the view from the patio wa amazing.

I cannot think of a better place to have based our island adventures. I am so glad that we chose to stay at the more tranquil southern end of the island--so much less chaotic and crowded than the main tourist centers up north. Even more so, I'm glad we chose Alama--from the facilities, to the food, to the tour arrangement/motorbike rental, the place way overdelivers for the price. Overall for the cost of this property it’s a great place! Staff in my opinion was excellent. The breakfast buffet also very good!

We had a fantastic time! They were wonderfully eco-conscious which is very important to us. The staff was friendly and super helpful. My husband hurt his leg and we had to go to the clinic, the wonderful staff at Narima arranged the entire thing. We had an awesome time and definitely encourage others to stay!

The service was top notch! We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. Nice pool and clean rooms. Short walk to the beach.

The staff was very kind and helpful, breakfasts were delicious and the beach was just amazing (long and not crowded). We fell in love with the place. The rooms and bathrooms were clean at all times and the mosquitoes net worked perfectly fine. There is a long pool and sunbeds available for guests. We would totally come back to this hotel. It is highly recommended.
