I was hoping the bar would be a gathering spot for all the guests, but I never saw it open (appears to be by reservation?) That we were encouraged to return by 9 PM was also a bit onerous (given it is 30 minutes from the city centre), but an understandable part of the guesthouse experience."

They let me check in early without charging a fee as a courtesy, and provided a choice of breakfast which was room delivered every morning as part of my stay and no extra charge, for which I am very grateful.
