It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints.
I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? From the time you enter the massive fortress doors, you are ushered into paradise. The staff is top notch--nothing is too small or overlooked. The rooms are massive and I'd recommend an ocean view room at the very least. Waking up to the ocean from your double glass French doors is spectacular. The food here is excellent and they do a wonderful job of changing up the dinner option nightly. For me, I had no desire to leave the resort, however Galle is...

Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning place! Loved everything about it, definitely need to make this your destination when visiting South Sri Lanka. From service to food to the views, you won’t be disappointed.

Hotel is very nice, rooms are big and clean, and breakfast is delicious.
Very quiet perfect for couples.
If you looking to surf Infront of the hotels and more dining options around you, this spot will not fit.

The staff was expecting us on arrival and greeted us by name, and the personal service continued until the moment we left. With only seven rooms, this is probably the most personalized service you will receive at any hotel, anywhere. The rooms are HUGE with uninterrupted views of the ocean. The common areas of the hotel also offer expansive views of the sea from every angle. The pool was heated to perfection, the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent, and everyone was so incredibly...

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and they loved this hotel. Short 5 min walk to Ahungalla Beach. ~ 15 min tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort. ~ 10 min tuk tuk ride to a sea turtle hatchery. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and my kids (age 10, 9, 7 and 5) loved the pool and watching the monkeys jump by through the trees overhead. The food was great and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

From the moment we arrived at Kahanda Kanda Hotel, our experience felt like stepping into a tropical paradise. The scenic drive from the gate to the reception is a beautiful prelude to what this enchanting property has to offer. Every aspect of our stay was nothing short of magical.
We celebrated our 23rd anniversary in the DUBU honeymoon villa, and it exceeded every expectation we had. Our days were blissfully spent lounging in our private pool, enjoying leisurely meals served poolside, and...
