"This was the second hotel we stayed at during our 10-day trek through Norway. It was in the PERFECT location for us to walk virtually everywhere, and anywhere that wasn’t close by, transit was super close and we could just hop on the light rail and head off. We only had one full day in Bergen and this was the perfect home base!"

"I booked two nights at the Comfort Hotel in Bergen and was at first put into a room with a tiny window and no way of opening it. After a while, I realised I couldn't turn the aircon off and the wall behind the bed was ever so slightly shaking. At first this didn't bother me but over time, it became more and more disturbing. I felt like I was in the hull of an engine room in a huge ship and I slept terribly that night. The next day, I told reception and they immediately moved me into a lovely room with none of these issues. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I wish it hadn't happened in the first place, but the first night is the only reason why I am not giving this hotel 100%. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms have vegan soap/shampoo, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of vegan options (including different kinds of non-dairy milk and oat-yoghurt). The location is amazing too - it's within easy walking distance of the centre, harbour and ~10 minute walk to get to the tram to take you to the airport. "

"We booked the Thon Hotel Bergen Airport for its location near the airport, but it proved to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in during our years of travel in Europe. We booked two rooms for two nights. The rooms were nicely furnished in a tasteful, modern style, and they were beautifully maintained. Please convey my compliments to the housekeeping staff! There were some nice touches in the rooms, such as umbrellas and shoe horns: perhaps these were small details,but they reflected the service-oriented focus of the management.The bathroom was modern, efficient, and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of light sources in the room, which is not always true of hotel rooms.The breakfast buffet was the most impressive breakfast we had ever had in a hotel: nothing was missing from the menu,and the food was absolutely delicious. All of the staff members of the hotel, specifically including the dining room, were professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly: whenever I asked for information or assistance, it was as if there was nothing in the world that they would rather be doing than attending to my needs. Ruben at the front desk was especially helpful and courteous.Thon Hotel Bergen Airport could be used as a textbook example of how a superior hotel should be designed, managed, and operated. My family and I enjoyed our visit to your hotel immensely. My thanks and compliments to the entire staff of your hotel!"
