Great location with an easy walk to town and restaurants on the boulevard by the sea. The manager is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The bed was very comfortable and I felt safe at the property. I will be staying here again. Excellent!

Treasure by the Sea is a very special place. Greetje, the host, went above and beyond to entertain and support us. She even transported my husband to the emergency room when he accidentally cut his hand. Greetje also took us on a unique night snorkeling experience where we witnessed bioluminescence and tiny crustaceans called ostracods. Our room was well furnished with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the calm, well mannered friendly dogs who lived on the property, the close proximity to restaurants, shops and snorkeling, as well. Don't hesitate to book Treasure by the Sea.

Exceptional by any standard

We had a studio with a nice soft bed, a very well equiped kitchen and a nice spacious bathroom. The location is few steps from the boulevard and close enough to the village center. Chris and Sue made us feel very welcome and helped us with any and all of our requests. The area is very quiete and relaxing.

Anita was an amazing host/ property manager before and during our stay at treasure by the sea. Fantastic communication through email and phone calls. Forsaw many of our needs and handled them before we even arrived. Also we loved the cats and dog that live on the property.

All the other guests we met over our three week stay were repeat customers so that pretty much says it all. If you're looking for a quiet laid back place to stay on Bonaire look no further. Never stayed anywhere with such a fully equipped kitchen, used the available bikes frequently and being able to rent a vehicle on short notice without going anywhere was super convenient. The cleaning staff was top notch and the hosts were always available to answer questions. They even took us for a night snorkel. Nothing negative to say. If you have pet allergies be aware the owners have very friendly pets.

My stay at Treasure by the Sea was by far the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Not only was it 15 sec walk to the shore but Sue and Chris had everything one could possibly need. They both went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. They are the kindest and most accomodating people you will ever meet. The property is always nicely maintained and the houses have a really warm, comfy, and beachy interior design. They were also more than happy to offer rides to and from the airport! The fact that the place wasn’t a resort but had pretty much everything a resort can offer was one of the best aspects. A very cute and not over-the-top fancy yet stylish was perfect for us.

Wonderful close to town experience

Chris was a wonderful host - informative and attentive. Boys wanted to ride bikes and Chris had air in the tires in no time for them. We loved walking into town at night as well as the easy night dive we did while staying there. Very eco friendly with compost and recycle bins on site! Will definitely share experience with family members who come down!

Nice location, great people

This was our first trip to Bonaire and this is a fantastic place to stay. Like home, but better - well equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, comfy furniture, fantastic hosts. It's in a great location, easy walking distance to lots of places to eat and great advice on where to go. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful base for exploring Bonaire

This accommodation has more of a B&B feel than hotel feel. The place consists of a small number of side by side units separated from the shore walk and road by another similar vacation complex, There is a partial view of the water from the site. The single lane road along the shore does attract a fair amount of car and people traffic, so being slightly removed has advantages. Sue and Chris are very attentive and wonderful hosts. They can provide all kinds of recommendations on diving/snorkeling sites, other attractions, restaurants, etc. They have two dogs and cats that add a homey feel. The unit we stayed in had two bedrooms. The bed in one of the bedrooms could be separated into two singles which made it perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was well equipped and we took advantage of it making meals we enjoyed outside on the large patio.

This place is the best!

This place is wonderful--it had all the comforts of home and a fantastic view of the water, with sailboats and marine life. We were treated to a show of a large school of porpoises swimming by, while enjoying our breakfast on the veranda. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!
