"The location was perfect and the apartment had everything we needed. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store within walking distance. I can't say enough about the bakery next door -- we stopped each morning for a delicious treat. We also walked to Le Petite France and were able to take the 10 Bus, which stopped right outside of the apartment, or the Tram up the street to go to the train station for our day trips to Heidelberg and Basel. "L’Hotel de L’Ill is exceptional value for the price. It’s very close to most places you may wish to visit in Strasbourg. It’s location is less than a minute from the river and the promenade which runs along this side of the river. The staff are friendly and welcoming and will try to accommodate you as far as it is reasonably possible. We would strongly recommend this hotel. "

"Charming hotel with daily room servicing. Our room offered a view of the Cathedral and had fully functional windows to allow a nice cool breeze into the room. The breakfast service felt overcrowded with items not replenished in a timely manner. If you’re visiting during a busy period you may find better options elsewhere, but overall the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our stay was comfortable and perfect for our visit to Strasbourg."

"One of the best hotels on our 3week stay. Literally across the street from main train station. Very safe and clean area. Lots of food choices in the area and walking distance to all the historical areas. Room was beautiful! They had a useable antique elevator that was so quaint! We used it all the time just for the fun of it! Had a lovely sauna area but didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast was good but area was too small for lots of people to move around loading plates with food. Our room was beautiful and bathroom had a towel warming rack! "
