"I came in for one night for a personal event, and I booked this hotel for the first time. Its a lovely place, situated so nicely in central Lyon with super easy access to Metro, Tram and train station. They have done a great job in renovation, keeping the old world charm with new amenities. The staff is super friendly, speaks English very well, know the city and are very helpful. "This hotel was great for me as a solo traveler - it’s in a safe area, the room was clean and I was impressed by the double windows that blocked out street noise. It’s right in the heart of a ton of shopping and restaurants. The only con was the shower- I barely fit in it and I’m a smaller woman, and the doors didn’t shut properly so the water got in the floor. If you can look past that it’s a good room. "
